Australian registered breeders of Maine Coon Cats and Kittens located in Tasmania. Welcome to Makeitmaines, breeders of the Majestic Maine Coon.
We are a small in-house closed Cattery situated on the East Coast of Tasmania and are registered with The Cat Control Council Of Tasmania.
Breeding Maine Coons is a hobby of ours which brings a lot of delight into our lives. All our kittens are raised indoors and are brought up with children and our dog. The cats have the run of the house with a outdoor large enclosure as well. We are a pet plan preferred breeder and have shown with great results. Our first Champion Makeitmaines Discord, who also scored a Reserve, third and a fourth in her kitten shows. We have also gotten Best of Breed, 5th in the top 5, 8th in the top 10 at show, Reserve and Improvement of the Maine Coon breed. We have champion bloodlines in our cats pedigrees.










Our Breeding Program.
In our Breeding program we have imported from overseas bringing in New and old bloodlines into Australia carefully selecting for soundness, size and health, breeding for quality not quantity. All our breeding felines are negative for HCM etc. Our kittens come in a variety of colors and get into a lot of mischief, are loyal and love children and other animals.
